Warren Buffett says bitcoin is a 'delusion' and 'attracts charlatans'

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett is doubling down on his bitcoin criticism, calling it a "delusion" that "attracts charlatans."

In an interview with CNBC's Becky Quick Monday, Buffett said the world's largest cryptocurrency "has no unique value."

Bitcoin has lost more than 80 percent of its value since reaching a high near $20,000 at the end of 2017. The crypocurrency was trading near $3,781 on Monday, according to data from CoinDesk.
